Christian Andrews
Christian joined the firm in 2014 as Financial Controller. Before joining EQP, he worked as Senior Auditor at PwC (1976 – 1980). Later, he joined the financial sector, both in national and international banking, retiring from HSBC in 1988.
In 1989, he led the opening of the Chilean subsidiaries Schiesser Tais International S.A. and Schiesser Inversiones Ltda., for the German company Schiesser AG, where he served as General Manager and Director. In 1992, he joined the IBM Consulting Group as an IBM International Consultant on Business Transformation and Reengineering. In 2000, he was appointed General Manager of Fundación Coanil, after which he served as Executive Director of the
Chilean-North American Institute of Culture.
In 2006, he assumed the position of Studies and Administration Manager at the Consejo Minero de Chile A.G., where he remained until 2011. In addition, he has been a member of the board of directors of María Ayuda Servicios S.A., ADCultura, Partners of America and the Chilean-Japanese Cultural Institute .
Christian is a Business Engineer from the University of Chile, has an MBA from the Sellinger School of Business (Loyola University Maryland), is a Lay Theologian from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and has a diploma in Fundraising from Purdue University.
